Airlie Beach Bed & Breakfast

Airlie Beach is a very popular spot for most travelers and backpackers alike. If you’ve read my post on our travels you’d know that we stayed at the Waterfront Backpackers but just wanted to mention there’s also Airlie Beach Bed & Breakfast spots everyone should also check out too!

Here are a few hot spots for Airlie Beach Bed & Breakfast stays:

Airlie Beach Organic Bed & Breakfast

Waterfront Airlie Beach Bed & Breakfast

These places are all very close to the waterfront and offer a different option from Hostels, hotels, and motels.

Often family run, Airlie Beach Bed & Breakfast accommodations are perfect for couples traveling or small groups of people. You get intimate settings and in some circumstances they even cater to niche travelers.

For example at the Whitsunday Organic Bed & Breakfast travelers can look forward to accommodations for up to 18 exclusive guests. Their hosting practices aim to support relaxation, health and sustainable living.

You can choose from their three course menu of daily freshly prepared organic breakfasts.

Or you can pamper yourself with a massage based on pure essential organic oils or simply relax on the balcony, or wander in the organic garden!

Definitely something I can picture a “Flashpacker” doing!

OR….

If you’re more into the “excursion” experience try the Airlie Waterfront Bed & Breakfast its centrally located right on the waters edge just a 20m jaunt to the beach, 200m to the all year man made swimming lagoons, shops, restaurants and a 5 minute walk to Abel Point Marina!

They offer private and unique accommodation types including serviced studio or 1 bedroom spa apartments and 2 bedroom apartments. Travelers can relax and enjoy air-conditioned comfort (trust me you’ll need it up there) with flowers, chocolates and panoramic ocean views! SO stunning!

They also offer the convenience of options to stay at the Waterfront Airlie Beach Bed & Breakfast or add an overnight or day tour of the gorgeous white sands of the Whitsundays!

If you choose to…travelers can sail the heavenly Whitsunday Islands stylin on a yacht for 2 or 3 nights. Or you can opt for just a day visit of the beautiful and famous Whitehaven Beach (that’s where Jill & I went), where you can snorkel the fringing reef, and dive the outer reef. Another option is to take a flight over Heart Reef and skydive!!! Something I definitely want to do for my big 3-0th b-day! SO Looking forward to it!

So while Jill and I didn’t think about going for the Airlie Beach Bed & Breakfast option, it’s definitely there! The best part about Bed & Breakfast joints are that they are usually on price point with some hostels out there. I would assume that the Airlie Beach Bed & Breakfast accommodations are like the convenience of a hostel or hotel, with the comfort of a “home” feeling or a family.

So if you’re traveling, let us know where you stay, sleep tight and tell us if/where the
bed bugs bite!

See Roo around!
