So I think I love getting “lost in Oz”. Eventually I may need to find the yellow brick road though…
It’s been almost 2 months to the day since we landed in Australia, and we’ve been working non-stop on our project and I think I’m starting to feel a bit burnt out. We had amazing momentum when we first started, and granted life wasn’t always easy along the way but we have a fantastic support team who’ve helped us through the rough patches! (Thanks guys)
We’ve now settled in Surfers Paradise and are currently looking for jobs, while still developing our project and working on a new downloadable tutorial on everything Australia. So more work, more experience, more networking, more contacting, “more… more… more…. how do you like it? How do you like it?” I feel as though by the end of this tour we’re going to be online machines!
Thanks to everyone for writing in, commenting, and writing to us. It definitely helps keep the homesickness at bay, and our momentum up. We love hearing your thoughts, and to us, knowing what people think of our show is the most fun. I joke with my parents that it’s sort of like having a baby. We had a dream, a scheme, and now we’re learning what it all means. BUT IS IT FUN – you say? Yes of course!
Jill and I have had our ups and downs on the road. We’ve wondered at times if we’re cut out for life on the road? Wondered if being away from our friends and family is really for us, and wondered whether or not we’re doing the right things… but we wouldn’t trade any of it for anything else in the world!
We love that we’re living our dream. We love that so many of you have believed in our projects and helped us along the way. We’re grateful that we get to work together and travel together. We’re super pumped we miss winter! Yay!
We love the new experiences, looking up at a different sky, spending everyday at the beach, and knowing that life can only get better from here. Bottom line is – we’re doing it. We had an awesome idea. We planned and researched our butts off, and now we’re putting the plan in motion.
Sometimes we wonder if ten years from now we’ll look back and smile and say maybe we would of done things differently…. but for now we say we’ve done the best we could with what we know now.
The one thing we find the most helpful is reminding ourselves that everyone has a life, but not everyone really lives it. Always be grateful for the happy accidents that come your way, and if you ask a question, someone out there will have the answer.
And while I still haven’t met the Wizard of Oz, I’ve seen a few lizards…
See roo later!

Here is something for u if u feel lost. Always go for your dreams….life is too short!
Today I Can…
by Anonymous
I woke up early today, excited over all I get to do before the clock strikes midnight. I have responsibilities to fulfill today. I am important. My job is to choose what kind of day I am going to have.
Today I can complain because the weather is rainy or I can be thankful that the grass is getting watered for free.
Today I can feel sad that I don’t have more money or I can be glad that my finances encourage me to plan my purchases wisely and guide me away from waste.
Today I can grumble about my health or I can rejoice that I am alive.
Today I can lament over all that my parents didn’t give me when I was growing up or I can feel grateful that they allowed me to be born.
Today I can cry because roses have thorns or I can celebrate that thorns have roses.
Today I can mourn my lack of friends or I can excitedly embark upon a quest to discover new relationships.
Today I can whine because I have to go to work or I can shout for joy because I have a job to do.
Today I can complain because I have to go to school or eagerly open my mind and fill it with rich new tidbits of knowledge.
Today I can murmur dejectedly because I have to do housework or I can feel honored because the Lord has provided shelter for my mind, body and soul.
Today stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped. And here I am, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping.
What today will be like is up to me. I get to choose what kind of day I will have!
Have a GREAT DAY! Unless you have other plans.
