So we made it to the plane on time in Adelaide thanks to Kirsty! The hostess with the most-ess! It was definitely hard to go back to “hostel living” after the hospitality of Kirsty and her roommate “Tel”. Thanks ladies for a memorable time in Adelaide!

Upon arriving in Perth Australia we were greeted with the kindness of a stranger named Grant, after striking up a friendly conversation in the airport, we discovered he’s currently dating a fellow Canadian, and he offered us a ride to our hostel and city tour. We were skeptical at first, because who’d want to drive around 2 girls and show them around town early on a Saturday morning, but quickly realized how proud of his town he was and knowledgeable too! So thanks again Grant, you made our first day in Perth Australia a memorable one! Cheers mate!

Later on that evening we met up with our good friend Billy who we originally met in Airlie beach on our Cruise Whitsundays excursion. It’s Billy’s last few days in Australia too before he heads off to Bali, so it’s been great catching up with him and sharing his stories of Australia before he jets.

Our second day we spent on Rottnest Island, in Perth Australia SO PRETTY!! Definitely worth the trip out there guys! It’s a great little island to spend the day at the beaches or go fishing, or hiking the trails. The water is so insanely turquoise blue that it makes you want to jump right in! Dolphins, whales, sea lions, and sting rays can all be spotted on or off this island depending on the migratory patterns. We personally saw dolphins, and a massive sting ray! We took a guided Discovery Tour of the island with a very informed and personable driver that provided cool facts and tid bits on the islands history and vegetation. After our satisfyingly scenic bus tour we went for a delectable lunch at Dome, with ocean front view and discussed how truly grateful we were for such a beautiful day.

We still had some time to kill so we rented mountain bikes and hiked back up to the lighthouse for some more gorgeous gratuitous photo opportunities then shimmied down the hill and found ourselves a place to park our butts on the beach. We’ve been craving some serious ocean time since leaving the Gold Coast. Jill choose to sit on a old coral rock, while Billy and I played frisbee for a bit. Then Billy went for a dip, but we made him chase down a sting ray for us with our camera to get a pic of the size of it, probably not really a good thing hind sight – considering the whole Steve Irwin thingy, but Billy’s an experienced diver and we figured since he’s a boy he’d be alright. (I miss having my brother around for those kinds of dares and scares.)

Today was a bit over cast we were going to shoot our “foot tour” in Perth Australia with Billy, but we had brunch then it clouded over and started spitting. Jill ended up getting food poisoning and I’m sick with a terrible cold (still – its getting worse). So that’s the update! One more day till we’re back in the beautiful Gold Coast and living in Broady again!!!

Cheers to Roo!
Thanks for following along~

So Jill and I missed our flight to Adelaide. We’ve been pretty diligent with our Australia travel itinerary. However this particular afternoon a series of events unfolded that prevented us from catching our 6:10p flight – Melbourne to Adelaide.

Here’s our Melbourne Australia travel itinerary on Wednesday:

Wake – up: We slept in till 10:30 am and opted for the late check out, Jill woke up with a headache and I had been up coughing all night with this stupid bloody cold.

Check – out: 11:50 am made it ten minutes before 12 Noon, or else we would of had to pay for an extra day.

12:30p – wander on the streets trying to figure out something to shoot for the next few hours before our flight.
SO we wandered to the Melbourne Museum, Jill had never been and I am a history/art geek so it seemed like a logical choice. We were even ready to do some under cover filming, but soon discovered we were allowed to film most exhibits without any drama. So we admired the bone structure of these Mesozoic mammoths, and recounted each of our tall tales of our primary memories of dinosaurs! The rest you’ll have to wait and see for yourselves.

2:30p – we decide to go for lunch, pretty hungry and Jill had just palmed a “100 year old wood” – inside joke, (but you’ll see soon). We stopped on Brunswick street at our favorite place Umago and had the yummiest dishes, but decided to enjoy a glass of wine (or 2 or 3) with lunch.

3:30p – I decide to go get some cough syrup before going back to our hostel to wait for our “Star Bus” which is scheduled to arrive at 5p.

3:35p- I get sidetracked by shopping and a really cute vintage tan suede trench.

4:10p – I get back to the hostel to find Jill with a massive headache. She jokingly suggests that we indulge
in these really tasty Skyy Vodka coolers, since we’re killing time.

4:10:10 – I agree, but only if I have one for each hand.

5p – No “Star Bus”. We go to the desk and double check where it is, and how long it should take to get to the airport. The guy the day before said 20mins, so I just thought I’d get some confirmation. The lady behind the desk says it takes an hour! She calls the Star Bus company and we learn that its delayed due to traffic.

5:10p – a lovely French couple going to Sydney offers to take us in their cab to the airport.

5:30p – stuck in massive amounts of traffic due to an accident on the highway causing some major wait time.

5:32p – call to Qantas pleading with them to hold the plane, they say that we can’t and that we have to be at the airport and have our baggage checked in no later then 5:40p

5:40p – still in the car

5:50p – Jill makes a made dash for the Qantas counter to plead our case.

6p – Qantas (our angels) re-book us for the 7:10p flight without so much as a fuss, fight, or charging us extra!!! Huge thanks, then even apologized to us for not being able to book us together with such short notice. We were shocked.

6:05p – a Qantas representative helps us with our luggage and manually helps us check in faster, and brings us to the Business line so we don’t have to wait. We were shocked.

6:10p – another Qantas representative comes up to us and tells us to go to the “Courtesy Desk” to ask if we can sit in the Emergency section so we’ll have more room, and we’ll be able to sit together… We look at each other like we’re in some bizarre-o world or something.

6:15p – we are stopped by a “free wine” sampling station on our way to gate # 8, not wanting to be rude we sample.

6:17p – stopped at another “free wine” sampling station, gate # 8 is the last in this row… so not wanting to be ruuudddeeee we accepted the sample.

7:10p – ready for departure

7:25p – drinking wine and eating mini pretzels

7:30 – offered dinner on an hour long flight! Wha wha wha… shocked and awed.

8p – depart plane

8:05p – guy that was sitting next to us asks us as we head towards baggage if we left a lap top on the plane.

8:05:01p – Jill mad dashes to get her computer….

8:30p – arrive safely at Kirstys with everything in check! (Thank God!)

10p – thank the “Uni” for all the amazing angels and awesomeness today in our lives that helped us along the way! Also vow not to drink in the afternoon when changing destinations…

So thanks again to all of Roo for helping us get to our 3rd destination, we hope goodness comes your way for all your good deeds! (We just hope we won’t run into any more dramas for the rest of our Australian travel itinerary).

Cheers Mate!

Hey Guys!

SO Jill and are about to meet up with our friend Kirsty in Adelaide that we met on our first road trip in Yamba!

We’re super pumped about being half way done our trip, sounds bizarre to say that we’re excited to be done, but we’re not really cut out for life on the road. So much so that this time we decided to fly to each destination!

The great thing about this trip though is that aside from Melbourne, we will have met up with at least one friend from our journeys along the way. Sydney we met up with Karla, Scott, and Daniel. Melbourne we were going to meet up with our friends Rubi and Tomasso, and Amanda but we just didn’t get a chance to squeeze it in, Adelaide is Kirsty, and Perth we’ll be meeting up with Billy from “Airlie” beach.

This road trip has been a very different feel overall. We cut down the amount of places we travel to in lieu of spending more time in the major cities and really getting a feel for what they’re about.

When we traveled back to Sydney it was like coming back home base. When we first arrived in Sydney it was raining and cold and we were jet lagged and bombarded with everything new all at once in our faces. This time it was sunny, warm and inviting. We knew the lay of the city way better and loved wandering down to the Harbor Front, going on the lunch time Majestic Cruise getting lost in The Rocks, and spending time with our good friends Karla and Scotty D!

Melbourne has been a favorite as well! We LOVE the layout, we find it so similar to Toronto in terms of organized streets, vibe, and cultural pockets! The Melbourne by Foot Tour with Dave was awesome because we were able to immerse ourselves in Melbourne culture, discover the hidden gems, and revel in the progress this truly unique Australian city has to offer. Plus, we are famous for getting lost and this time it was impossible on a guided tour!

We also had a great time on our tour of the Great Ocean Road withMelbourne Tours. The Lock and Gorge, London Bridge and 12 (7) Apostles are so beautiful it is a religious experience with nature. You feel like you’re looking at the gates of heaven or something. We were lucky enough to have experienced the glory of these formations just before sunset so the sand was radiating a glorious golden glow, and the water looked like a colour pallet swirling with 10 different hues of warm inviting blue tones; even Martha Stewart couldn’t have decorated it better.

Anywho, we’re sharing the internet so my time is done, time to pass it over to Jill and get ready for our last day excursion in magnificent Melbourne! Whoot whoot!!!

Jill and I went Melbourne touring today with Dave Carswell from Melbourne by foot. It was a great way to spend the day, the walking tour took approximately 3 hour. The joke of the day was that when you’re Melbourne touring you liable to experience 4 seasons all in one day. Jill and I definitely had the pleasure of experiencing 3 during the walk, and just was we were heading back home the rain started!

The great thing about this tour is whether you are a first time visitor to the city or a seasoned frequent traveller, a knowledgeable guide will take you on a 3 hour exploration of Melbourne’s past and present. Melbourne touring is really great on your first day because it truly helps get your bearings!

We had a chance to learn about the Woi wurrung and Boon wurrung people, the traditional owners of the land. Dave let us in on the history of early settlement and learn of the tragedies suffered by Aboriginal people at the hands of early European settlers. Apparently they were offering to share their land while the settlers were “visiting” they didn’t realize they wanted to steal it from them.

The other cool discovery was the rich history of Melbourne’s immigration and migrant policies, which has provided the backbone for the city’s multicultural diversity. Which made us feel at home, because it was so much like Toronto we felt this could be a city we could definitely live it!

While we were Melbourne touring we got to experience Melbourne’s famed laneways and digest some of the liberal art work that adorns many inner-city arcades and lane ways. We air-guitared down AC/DC lane and took pics around all the crazy graffiti artworks! As well as we witnessed about 7 bridal parties taking their wedding pics down there! That was definitely UNIQUE!!!! Not sure if I’d want my wedding photo’s to have a unicorn smoking a cigar behind me but to each their own…

Also while we were Melbourne touring we discovered Melbourne’s dark past with this cities famous underworld and criminal scenes. Apparently one of the the biggest ring leaders were killed this week in a jail. There’s also a new sitcom based on the years of waring rivals the show is called “Under Bellies” an Australian first!

Of course while Melbourne touring we had to familiarize ourselves with some of Melbourne’s iconic architecture and learn about the history of some of these buildings including Federation Square, the M.C.G and Flinders Street Station. We also learned about about Melbourne’s diehard sporting culture, and seen first hand the rich cultural scene of music and popular arts!

Being the cheeseball that I am, I just couldn’t get over that “Batman” was the potential founding father!

Hey guys So Jill and I landed safely in Sydney on Monday night, and after being on a 24hr flight the travel time from the Gold Coast to Sydney was peanuts to us! Weird even. We’re so used to being in vans or planes for a minimum of six hours, that our hour and a half flight almost seemed like a hop across a ditch.

When we arrived we made our way to swanky Surry Hills where we met up with our good friends Karla & Scott. Also known as KC and Scotty D!

We went to a badass Thai place called Big Boy Thai which was super yum and not too pricey. Then we went home and chilled at BFF Headquarters, also known as KC and Scott D’s place, our version of ground zero from when we first landed in October!

The next day Jill and I were up and at em, we had 3 shoots to do, and no time to waste! Our first shoot was of the Sydney Harbor Magistic Cruise, we had a beautiful seafood buffet lunch, coupled by champagne on the roof top, and a warm tranquil day. Can’t WAIT to show you guys the pics we took with the actual camera! The iPhone ones are ok, but hardly do it justice.

Then we walked up George St. one of the most busiest streets in Sydney to shoot popular landmarks, and cityscapes. Nothing out of the ordinary happened just two city gals having a fun city time. EXCEPT for when Jill passed this shoe store with 50% off, we went in unsuspecting that there would be anything to lust after.

However, Jill found a pair of open toed boot heels that she was immediately drawn to. Now me being the practical one thinking of budget and weight requirements to fly in Australia desperately prayed that they were out of stock, or pricey or something of that nature. The shoe salesperson came and regretted to inform us that there were no size 10’s left in this particular model. *SIGH OF RELIEF* With a silent giggle, and a satisfied smirk we left the shop without the infamous boot shoes. However Jill did squeak in inaudible tones how much she “hated” me for not letting her get the putrid purple sister pair. But I think we’re over it now.

We got back to BFF Headquarters and had a quick shower and started prepping for our sexy Sydney night out! Jill and I made our way down to Ash St. Cellar a hip tapas bar in The Ivy complex. We dined on the most delicious dishes – deep fried, chili prawns with garlic aioli, melted goats cheese, wild honey, and pine nuts, a spinach, walnut balsamic salad, and a charcuterie sample platter. Topped off by a sensational desert – chocolate rice crispy bottom, ricotta cheese drizzled in fresh fruit to dress it up.

Filled to the brim we waddled our way to Establishment Bar on George St. We were welcomed by Matt and treated like V.I.P’s for the entire evening. We indulged in their signature “Fancy Drink” as well as a few other tasty concoctions! Jill and I had a blast, and we were pleasantly pleased with our day!

We hope you enjoy the episodes they will be airing in a few weeks time from now. Off to Bondi now to take in the … um “Scenery” a.k.a. – Beautiful Bondi Boys! YAY!

So it’s down to the wire and Jill and I are officially heading off on our second road trip tomorrow! Whoot Whoot! We leave the sunny Gold Coast and head off to serene Sydney, then to Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Just as we were out for dinner tonight we ran into some of our friends and some of our regulars we’ve served these past few months, when we mentioned Melbourne all they could say was “there’s SO many places to visit Melbourne”!

We can’t wait, we’re sort of wondering if Melbourne will be like our equivalent to Toronto, or even better? We hear it’s more like Vancouver, Canada but we’ve both not been there so we can’t even really compare!

When we arrive in Melbourne our first day we’re taking an awesome tour from our Twitter Friend Dave Carswell @ MelbournebyFoot! Dave’s planning on taking us around the city and getting us oriented with what’s happening and the general vibe of the city! We can’t wait!

Then we are almost 95% confirmed that we’ll be touring the AFL and learning about Aussie Football Rules! It’s Australia’s version of football. Only the boys wear very short shorts! *Winks, nudges* Normally we aren’t huge sports fans, but hey, when in “Melbourne”.

One of the places to visit Melbourne for me, is going to be the COMEDY CLUBS!
I have been dying to get back on stage, and the Gold Coast doesn’t have the same sort of comedy vibe as Toronto. But Melbourne does! Which would make me an international laugher! hee hee… you know.. like instead of “lover”… so cheese. Too gouda to resist! ha ha… I’m sober I swear.

We’ll be in Melbourne Friday April 23rd – Tue April 27th, so if anyone has any other suggestions on places to visit Melbourne then bring em on!

We will also be looking for some sort of accommodations for the duration, if anyone could please suggest a clean and affordable hotel or hostel that would be great! Also places to avoid while being in Melbourne?

Jill and I are definitely looking forward to all of the cafe’s the nightlife, the city beat, and above all the cuisine! We hear that Melbourne has a plethora of ethnicities and that’s one thing we’ve missed about not living in Toronto! When a city is full of different ethnicities that means lots and lots of different ethnic foods! YUM YUM!

We especially miss good sushi, and greek food! It just hasn’t been the same here on Australia’s east coast. Which is weird because you’d think with such a vast ocean to choose from the sushi here would be unbelievable! But alas, we were shocked and awed when we saw “Chicken Terriyaki Rolls” and “Tuna or Egg salad rolls”… what is that?
Those do not belong in a roll my friends, that’s definitely not how we “roll”. *giggles – did it again*

Anywho, can’t wait to take it from the east side to the west side….

Leaving on a jetplane in the afteROOn, so check back with ya’s later!

As Canadians we focus so much on being polite and considerate, that its a bit refreshing to just be cheeky now and then. I feels like my tongue has been sharpened and my mind explodes with ways to stir the pot.

So Jill and I have just finished up our last bit of tours on the Gold Coast in Australia. We missed our Australia traveling so much though that we’re ready to hit the road again! It’s funny because when we talk to other people about Australia traveling it’s all the same. People light up and are eager to share their experiences!

Some of the best parts about Australia traveling isn’t about the tours, or the journey, it’s the pictures! No matter where you are in Australia you’re almost guaranteed to take at least one picture that looks post card worthy! Some of the best places for photography for me using my iPhone was Noosa, Byron Bay, and Airlie Beach.

My other favorite part of Australia traveling is the people you meet. The Aussies who’ve been born and raised here are quite the characters. They won’t hesitate twice to “take the piss” outta ya, which some people mistake for blatant rudeness, or being unfriendly, but in all of my personal encounters, it’s been more like an initiation. They dole out a sassy remark and if you’re able to sass em’ back or even up em’ one you’re in for the win! I actually like it, I get to say pretend mean things at least once a day, and I don’t have to worry about being PC! As Canadians we focus so much on being polite and considerate, that its a bit refreshing to just be cheeky now and then. I feels like my tongue has been sharpened and my mind explodes with ways to stir the pot.

The other part about Australia traveling that has been very different for us, is the Australians love for adventure, their undaunted fear for semi-poisonous creatures of strange and unusual sizes, their secluded disregard for an over abundance of trashy tabloid sensationalism, and the lack of salt and all things yummy and bad for you like greasy fast food.

All in all our Australia traveling adventures have been a blast! An experience beyond compare and one I’ve gotten to share with my bestest mate! We depart for our second road trip on April 19th and I’m super pumped to see Western and Southern Australia!

Should be a blast, I might even be doing some stand-up again in Melbourne yay!

If anyone has any stories about their experiences with Australia traveling please feel free to share them in our comments page. We love hearing from ROO!

Cheers~

We don't Actually care about what You really think, or want to hear the real answers to these questions, we just want your affection.

“Sorry, no hun, I don’t think you’re crazy, I think the penile probe unleashed the beast!”

I’m shaking my head laughing at yet another story from one of the amazingly adorable women in my life. As a woman, guys you have to understand, we’re loaded like a freight train chock full of ALL sorts of crazy hormones and we’re prone to explode on anyone, at anytime, for any reason! This is a fact. Deal with it, it’s natures sense of humor. Volcanoes do it, so can we.

I think if you’re uttering the words “So, guys do you think I’m crazy?” Or “Do you think this is completely insane?” Or “Am I dumb or is this crazy…” then chances are, there’s something crazy cooking there.

If anyone has watched “How to lose a guy in 10 days” you’ll see that a majority of what Andie Anderson does can and will be construed as crazy. However, it proves a theory, she gets the guy in the end, hence therefore leading me to believe that men LOVE crazy women!

Some of my most favorite stories of random acts of craziness also borderline on that saying “All is fair in love and war.” It’s like Passion is your pusher and Crazy is your drug.

When we’re younger we cause tantrums for attention, so maybe our random acts of “Craziness” are just a charmingly inappropriate way to demand attention from the people we love.

Sometimes it’s not our fault, sometimes the “Crazy” just takes hold of you and you can’t stop it!
Like those times when you call your guy 15 times before he answers, or you ask your guy if “you’re too fat in an outfit” or “if he thinks the colour of your cutest new shoes goes well with your new dress?” or “if he thinks your cooking is marginally better then his Moms”, or if you’re not having a good night and you say “babe I look like crap tonight don’t I?” or when you see a girl hitting on him and you want to rip out her extensions, and punch her in the face and so you grab him by the scruff of the neck and demand “WTF is going on?” (when really she’s just an old friend from highschool having a chat).

Guys if you’ve encountered any of these situations fret not! To ease the beast, just rub her back or pet her hair and say “you’re gorgeous no matter what, and I’m happy that you’re mine.”
That should keep the beast at bay for the time being. It’s sorta just like petting an angry dog to make it’s tail wiggle again.

We don’t Actually care about what You really think, or want to hear the real answers to these questions, we just want your affection.

Sometimes the “Crazy” blinds you with Rage, and you can’t rationalize what’s happening…

Like for instance: a guy you’ve been seeing for almost a year is two timing you with a well known stinky ditch pig. Only he’s told her that you’re his crazy ex who won’t leave him alone. So she happens to carve a very naughty word into your parents very expensive car that you borrowed while you’re at work. At this point, rage has set in, so that ol’ saying “don’t get mad, get even” comes to play. So getting your friends to go ninja style in the neighbors yard take paparazzi-esque pics of you and your guy making out on his front porch (with the date & time) and sending them to her at work in a miscellaneous envelope may seem like a completely logical idea. Followed by a drive by egging of her car – and his, for being a sneaky sneakerson.

OR.. when a guy you just broke up with shows up at your restaurant and sits in your section with his “new date” a week after you guys break-up. You might feel as though it’s completely ok, to belittle his sexual capabilities as dramatically as possible in front of the entire restaurant, and tell him to “get the Fudge outta your bar, cause he’s a limp d*ck loser… Oh and if he doesn’t you’re going to dump a pail of bar sludge over his head” to demonstrate your point of seriousness. To you this might seem empowering, a justified means even – to everyone else…. maybe a leeeeetttttllleee bit crazy!

OR… (my fav) when you call your boyfriend and you’re sitting outside of his place, after your done work @ 3am (because it’s right next door) so your ring him up to see what he’s up to? Meanwhile you can see that he’s on the computer, so you know what he’s doing. He doesn’t answer his phone. (Hmm…) So you call again. He still doesn’t answer his phone. (Whhhatttt?) SO now you’re a bit pissed, so you call again, and again, and again (for good measure). He still doesn’t answer. SO BAM!! Here comes the rage! It’s the “oh NO he didn’t!!” rage. At this point you feel as though he’s mocking you by not answering his phone and continuing on the computer. SO you feel its your God given right with the “GF title” to open that damn door even if it means taking it off its hinges in the middle of the night while you’re a tad sauced up, also, verbally expressing how displeased you are with extreme profanity in loud tones so the neighbors can hear…. Yep. A tad bit crazy.

So in conclusion, while every woman I know has a “Crazy” skeleton hiding in her closet I think the “crazy” keeps em keen. All of the stories listed above the men have returned to the lady in question and have been in a longer term relationship with them.

Guys I’ve spoken with say that they hate crazy girls and hate it when their girl blows up their phone with calls, and engages in minor forms of stalking. But my question to you, if you hate it so much then why stay with them? The common answer… crazy girls are better in bed.

Hence it is a FACT. Men Love Crazy Women.

Once you’ve sorted through all the travel deals to Australia, you’ll be all set to start your adventure!

Getting here is probably the hardest part. Once you’re in Australia the East Coast in particular is geared to backpackers and there are tons of deals to be had in this country.

Jill and I personally have gone the route of “flashpackers” because we just feel we’re too old to do hostels. But when you’re traveling in Australia hostel life is definitely one of the experiences everyone raves about.

Once you’ve landed in Australia there are tons of ways to get around in Australia, if you’re traveling cross country, there are buses that will take you to pretty much most towns in the country. It’s also worth looking into cross country flights, sometimes they work out much cheaper then renting a van and road tripping it through the crazy landscapes. (But sometimes that’s half the fun).

Jill and I are currently planning our second road trip and we leave April 19th to see Western Australia and some parts of the South as well. This time we chose to fly, mainly due to time constraints and smaller cash flow, but it’s completely affordable to do 2 weeks of traveling on a budget of $2000, if you’ve already landed. I’d recommend flying especially if you’re going to Perth as it’s pretty remote and will eat up most of your vacation time if you’re driving!

Hopefully if you’re currently looking into travel deals to Australia to escape to a wild wonderland of adventure and extremes, we’ve provided you with some useful information, we hope that if you have any questions about your Australian destination you’ll leave us a comment and we’ll do our best to help you find some kickass travel deals to Australia!

There’s tons to do for the family or with a group of friends!

Here are some suggestions:

If you’re an active family check out Adventure Parc in North Tamborine. Adventure Parc takes the elements of SAS training and makes them safe. If you watched our episode on Gold Coast Attractions Jill and I took the Extreme Green Challenge which is pretty much what it will be like. Only for some reason I had my scaredy pants on! While your up there, take a break and relax at the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk and Gallery Walk

, enjoy a refreshments on the balcony of the cafe looking over the tree tops!

If you’re a group of friends wanting to escape the hub of Surfers during the day, why not try the
Tall Ship Sailing Cruises! It was a fun filled package of everything rolled into one! Jill and I had the BEST time here, and the staff made it all the more entertai

ning! We sailed on the Tall Ship had some morning tea, then as we were sailing to South Stradbroke Island we hopped on a jet boat for some high speed whirls and twirls. When we got to the island we had a massive BBQ lunch, we were serenaded by one of the lovely staff members (great voice, not bad to look at either ladies), then we

got to go 4 wheeling, sand sledding, tubing, kayaking, and finished the day off with a parasail and a jet boat ride back. It was by far one of our most favorite days!

Not so sure about a huge day trip?

Other things to do are:

- Golfing, or Mini Putt
- Go bowling or to the shooting range (off of Cavil)
- Check out Infinity for a sensory explosion
- Blow your mind with Ripley’s Believe it or Not
- Scenic Flights (TIGER MOTH JOY RIDES)
- Day Spa’s
- Surfing lessons with the Pro’s
- Theme Parks/Amusement Parks
- Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
- The Australia Zoo
- Springbrook
- Check out the glow worm caves
- Climb Mt. Warning
- Go for horseback riding
- Take the Balunjali Aboriginal Kayaking tour
- SHOPPING, SHOPPING, SHOPPING!
- Dining at its best is in Broadbeach
- Try snorkeling with dolphins off of South Stradbroke Island
- Check out a band at one of the pubs
- Bet on the ponies, and poke some pokies

Here are just a few things to do for your Gold Coast Holidays, whatever the plan will be just get you, your friends or your family out to the GC! That’s GOLD COAST BABBBYYYY!
