stace.. that little letter of yours was well put. everything is so true. ive known jill since our serving at east side marios days and then met up again with her when she took BRTF at niagara … sadly enough i think her and maybe about 2 others have actually done SOMETHING to do with our degree.
i look back and think, shit… i have an education in something thats pretty friggin cool and im using my communication skills… serving… people judge me becuase im a server… and assume im a student and that im looking for a career… well my career i chose was to become a good mom and a good wife and becuase of that i chose not to pursue a job in broadcasting becuase it would mean id have to travel or commute if i chose my field in TV. i too, worked in advertising and hated my life!! i sold ads for radio.. worst effing job ever… but my serving job pays more than any job id make in a CAREER if i had chosen to take that path and im happy! i love my life and wouldnt trade it in for anything…cheers to the new year and new norms of no careers! haha

U might be able to do stand up comedy at GC Arts Centre. They have comedy nite every friday.

I watched The Secret too and went on with my journey(good, bad, painful, fun….some are documented on my blog) and I’m now a much happier person than I ever was. I’m also a big fan of Abraham’s teaching cause it made so much sense when I started to understand it.
